Position:

RML-PH is currently seeking a skilled IT Integration Specialist to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in supporting the integration of Employee Medical Records (EMR) and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) across our platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience working with healthcare systems, data integration, and process automation to ensure seamless data flow between multiple systems while maintaining data security and compliance.

The Integration Specialist will collaborate closely with our LIS, IT, Sales, and Billing teams to deliver effective solutions that improve workflows, data accuracy, and system efficiency.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing dispatch operations, ensuring efficient coordination of resources, and timely response to service requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and maintain integrations between EMR, LIS, and other internal systems.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation across different systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and maintain API connections, ETL processes, and middleware solutions for data synchronization.
  • Ensure data privacy and security compliance (HIPAA or equivalent standards).
  • Provide technical documentation, training, and support to end-users and internal teams.
  • Stay updated on integration best practices, healthcare technologies, and data protection regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in systems integration, preferably in healthcare or medical record environments.
  • Familiarity with EMR and LIS platforms and their integration processes.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, HL7, FHIR, XML, JSON, and database technologies (SQL/MySQL).
  • Experience with ETL tools and integration platforms (e.g., Mirth Connect, Dell Boomi, Zapier, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and healthcare compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Background in healthcare IT or medical software development.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
