Job Title: Core Lab Technician – Hematology, Chemistry, Immunology
Job Summary:
The Core Lab Technician conducts routine testing in hematology, chemistry, and immunology within a CLIA-certified environment. This role supports ongoing test analysis, QC monitoring, and documentation while ensuring adherence to lab standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and report results for hematology, chemistry, and immunology panels.

• Review and validate test data for accuracy and reliability.

• Evaluate QC metrics and escalate anomalies to the technical supervisor.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.

• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, and internal SOPs.

• Monitor analytic performance and ensure testing systems function within specifications.

• Document results accurately in the LIS and per regulatory standards.

• Participate in continuing education and proficiency testing.

• Assist in evaluating the competency of trained personnel.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science or medical technology.

• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical core lab setting.

• Familiarity with CBC analyzers, metabolic panels, and immunoassay instruments.

• Preferred certification: MLS(ASCP), MLT(ASCP), MT(AMT), or equivalent.

Work Schedule:
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Mountain Time)

• Location: Remote 
• Schedule: Full-time
• Equipment should be provided by applicants.
